Free shed plans

Every plan here comes out of the same designer: the framing for each wall, the rafter pattern, the cut list and a shopping list packed onto standard board lengths. Download the PDF, or open any plan in the designer and change it. For a size that is not here, the designer gives you the free summary and the $29 builder's plan.

Gable roof sheds

A ridge down the middle, rafters on the side walls and the door in the gable end. The most common shed shape, and the easiest roof to shingle. The gable shed plans page groups them by width and prices each one.

Lean-to sheds

One slope, one rafter pattern, a tall door wall at the front. Good against a fence or the back of a garage. The lean to shed plans page compares the four sizes.

Not a standard size?

Any width from 4 to 16 ft and any depth from 4 to 24 ft, in feet and inches. Change the roof, the wall height, the doors and windows, the spacing and the snow load, and get the same drawings and lists.
